| MP3s: | Here's some sound clips of bands I've been in over the years. None are particularly great, but a fun little documentation of some good times. |
Johnny Deformed |
2004-2004 (from the demo) |
Johnny Deformed was a side project band with members of Snakebite and Talk Hard. We wanted to sound like a power violence band with fast and sludgy parts. We pretty much wrote and recorded all the songs on the spot and in one or 2 takes. We played a few shows, but were more of a joke than a real band I guess... |
The Freakout |
2000-2001 (unreleased songs recorded @ WPRB) |
I joined the Freakout after their bass player moved, and they advertised that they were looking for a new one. I had really liked the demo they did; it had a youth crew feel to it. We did some weekend tours, and got on a few comps, but didn't really ammount to much. These tracks were never formally recorded, and are from a radio show we played on. |
Professor Plum |
1997-1998 (clips from the demo tape) |
Professor Plum was started by some friends in high school at the beginning of the ska trend. I was never too keen on that stuff, but the opportunity to play something different was an appealing challenge. Our demo was extremely well recieved, and we played almost every weekend for a while. I eventually just became bored with it, and quit before graduation. The band went on for a few more years, toured, released 2 CDs and went through many members. |
depraved azriel |
1996-1998 (from the 7" recording session) |
This band started out as something to do, and was more of an idea. We went through a few lineup changes in the beginning, and eventually went in a more pop-punk direction, but for some reason kept the old terrible name. We recorded and released a 7", but broke up after playing maybe 3 shows with it, which left us with a ton of leftovers. I just threw away the majority of mine. We were all reall close friends in high school, and broke up once people moved away for college. |
